Notice is hereby given that, under the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, the Village of Carbon will offer for sale, by public auction, in the Village of Carbon Office at 238 Hillside Ave., Carbon, Alberta, on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., the following lands:

Each parcel will be offered for sale subject to a reserve bid and the following: The reservation and conditions contained in the existing Certificate of Title The purchaser takes possession of the property “as is”

The purchaser must pay the 2018 tax levy immediately The purchase is to pay for all registration/transfer costs GST is to pay on the purchase price

The full purchase price must be paid by a certified cheque or cash by the end of business June 13,2018.

The Village of Carbon may, after the public auction, become the owner of any parcel of land not sold at the public auction.

Redemption may be effected by payment of all arrears of taxes and costs at any time prior to the sale.
